Digital ministry wants to unify people’s online identification
GUSEV, Kaliningrad Region, Aug 1 (PRIME) – Russia should unify requirements for household online identification, Digital Development Minister Konstantin Noskov said on Wednesday at a meeting.
“The first block we think should be legally secured is the provision of full identification of citizens in the online environment. We should unify requirements for identification, expand possibilities and means of identification,” the minister said.
The rules should determine how to identify a citizen by an electronic signature, a mobile phone number or other means, like fitness trackers or smartwatches.
The ministry is thinking of a bill on tax allowances for business-angels, Noskov also said.
